HollowBody Helper Kit – Streamline Your Hollowbody Wiring

The HollowBody Helper Kit is a comprehensive toolset built to simplify one of the trickiest jobs in guitar repair: wiring hollow and semi-hollow body instruments. Whether you’re installing pots, switches, or jacks, this kit gives you total control inside the body—with magnetic guides, flexible tubing, and a full set of support tools, all neatly housed in a rugged hard case.

We’ve all struggled with floating washers, dropped pots, and wires that won’t cooperate. This kit was born from that frustration—and built to make internal wiring feel like an external job.

What’s Included:

• 8 Hose Locks: Secure the silicone tubing to keep components stable during routing
• 10 Double-Sided Magnetic Barbs: (5 short, 5 long) for guiding components through internal cavities with precision
• 5 Single Short Magnetic Barbs: Great for precise placement of smaller components
• 2 No-Catch Bushing Rings: Prevent tubing from catching on hardware like jacks
• 2 Non-Magnetic Ends: Ideal for jack installations where magnets interfere with output jacks
• 5 Pieces of Silicone Tubing: Flexible and durable for threading components through the guitar body

How to Use:

1. Prep: Secure the guitar and remove strings or hardware as needed
2. Feed Tubing: Insert magnetic barbs into tubing and thread them through mounting holes
3. Retrieve & Attach: Use a screwdriver or tool to guide the magnet to an access cavity (like an F-hole), then attach your component to the tubing
4. Pull & Position: Gently pull the tubing to guide the part into position, using hose locks or no-catch rings as needed
5. Secure & Finish: Seat the component, tighten it down, then remove the tubing cleanly

Tips for Success:

• Hose Locks: Slide them over the tubing after attachment to help control component movement
• No-Catch Bushing Rings: Especially helpful on jacks or narrow openings to keep tubing from snagging
• Non-Magnetic Ends: Perfect for installations where magnets could pull off-center or stick to jack threads
